Although I treat a multitude of mental health conditions, my focus has primarily been working with clients suffering from depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, personality disorder, eating disorders, as well as alcohol and drug addiction.
My goal is to help individuals work through their mental health challenges, taking a team approach on that journey, while simultaneously finding peace, joy, and a sense of wellbeing. I value a holistic approach to healthcare understanding that each person is a unique being, integrating therapy, nutrition, and exercise in conjunction with prescription medication to assist clients in their unique path to wellness.
I have worked as a nurse and nurse practitioner in both inpatient and outpatient in medical as well as psychiatric settings. I am double board certified as a Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and, as such, I have a wide range of experience treating both physical and mental health conditions in children, adolescents, and adults. I earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing at the University of Colorado and did a post-master’s at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. I feel fortunate to have been able to work with clients that have entrusted me with their care, a privilege that I don’t take lightly.
